I need a pattern to make a three-dee globe with.

Can anyone help me track down a pattern that can be used to make a globe?

A Sew-Easy Mercator Projection, as it were?

Believe it or not, it’s an emergency.

Would a buckyball ([http://www.slb.com/seed/en/notes/bucky\_gui.htm](http://www.slb.com/seed/en/notes/bucky_gui.htm)) suffice? It’s a dodecahedrane, not a sphere.
