Thank you, thank you, thank you. As a song, as a melody, as a narrative and as a complete work, I’ve always considered “For No One” head and shoulders above “Yesterday,” suffering by comparison only because it came second. “Yesterday” is dramatic, but “For No One” is genuinely heartbreaking.
