If anything, I’d say that now is when we especially need depictions of the police as they should be (well, an oversimplified children’s version of as they should be, but it is a kids’ show, after all). ---

Cop went first and Abrams’ Live PD Later. There was Backlash for canceling Paw Patrol , but I was mistaken about it being cancelled. Mea culpa 😃 ---

Should also point out that Live PD involvment with filming a possible police killing in 2019 [Javier Ambler, who died after being tasered by Texas cops, pleaded he couldn't breathe - CBS News](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/javier-ambler-i-cant-breathe-texas-police-taser-died/) footage of which apparently has been destroyed. Yeah I forgot who wrote it (maybe VOX) but there was an article that claimed Paw Patrol was racist and fascist a few months ago. ---

Searching for #PawPatrol on Twitter today brings up a whopping 400 tweets, which are mainly either jokes or people complaining about Paw Patrol being cancelled (which it isn’t). ---
