I love the straightdope message boards. However, I believe that the management is now turning into a sell out corporation. If I am ever asked to pay to post, even if it’s a dollar a year, you will never see a post by clayton\_e again. This is truly a sad day. ---

That was my 200th post! Whoo Hoo!! (And it was directed at the OP, not at **detop** for posting a dud link, tee hee.) They are trying to get the boards afloat. You may not agree that this is the best way to go about it, but you don’t have to act like a whiny child. You posted the same thing in the MPSIMS thread, why repeat it here? ---

Did you see all the people in MPSIMS? A lot of them were disappointed, too. Did any of them come over here to bitch about it? You already made your point over there. They’ve done whatever they can to keep it going for free for a long time now. It’s getting beyond that point and something needs to be done. ---
