I did not know this was a thing! A highly profitable thing. I have been wasting my time on ebay, all this while I could have been selling hexes for cold hard cash.

[A love spell for $400? No wonder witches are cursing Etsy’s ban on magick](http://www.theguardian.com/money/shortcuts/2015/jun/21/etsy-casts-out-vendors-magickal-merchandise)

> Sorcery aficionados are incandescent that the handmade-goods website has banned the selling of hexes, spells and charms. It might just have something to do with the fact that witchcraft is a money spinner

> Previously such sales were allowed, as long as they were accompanied by a tangible item (a candle, perhaps, or a crocheted dreamcatcher, or an embossed tin token to improve the efficacy of your mumbo-jumbo). This was presumably for complicated legal reasons that, one suspects, ultimately boil down to allowing the site to escape accusations of perpetrating – or perpetuating, depending on where you like to draw the line – fraud.

> Naturally, many witches, warlocks and other woo-woo vendors are exercised by the religious discrimination they feel is being practised. Why, for example, should St Christopher’s medals and other blessed trinkets still be allowed for sale when they also offer less-than-tangible protections to the wearer? Are not all imaginary friends and influences created equal in the eyes of God/triple goddesses/no one at all?

I’ll do it for $299.99. And I’ll GUARANTEE\* my spell works just as well as anyone else’s.

\*User must provide verifiable documentation of other spells effectiveness. All sales final. No refunds, no exchanges.

I once sold a magic spell (of your choice!) on eBay for $15.00.

It was kinda scary. The purchaser wanted a love spell, told me all obout her life and her problems and then came back later to try to buy another spell.

I quit after that.

I also once saw some pocket lint for sale and some “ **remote** healing touch Reiki therapy” also for sale on eBay.
