My state has an atonishingly obtuse system for calculating and paying in-state online sales.
It literally takes me two minutes per sale.
If all states were this cumbersome, I would spend 5 months a year… just filling out sales tax filings.
And I’m only running a two-man show.
My state accounts for 5% of my sales. I would gladly kill all in-state sales off, but the venues I sell through don’t let me.
