# paypal , why confirmation doesn't add up?

Okay, after a great deal of stress I negotiated a payment for the SDMB/Chicago Reader through Paypal.

I got a confirmation e-mail several days ago that the Chicago Reader has received my payment of $4.95 USD.

However my on-line bank account does not show a withdrawal.

And the Chicago Reader still has me listed as a guest.

Is this normal?

If you sent the payment in the form of a PayPal e-check, it could take 3 to 5 days to process the payment.
