ive watched that ep in full and its the weirdest damn ep of SNL ever For starters, it was the last new ep before Xmas until after New years then Lorne Michaels ran a contest called "Why I should host SNL " and picked the nicest unassuming grandma from jersey (or somewhere close)the skits were interesting and she was a good sport when they gently made fun of her in the xmas skits she did get some moments of her own although there are people think the whole thing was a work … So when possibly already had a few drinks EC came on it looks like they stuck them in a storage room on the side and they do the song at a speed that would impress the ramones , and EC wouldn’t be on SNL until the 90s when the beastie boys brought him out and did radio with him … wasn’t detectives the other song they did? ---
