a spoon! I’m eating globs of creamy peanutbutter off a spoon stuck right in the jar! What else does p-nut butter need? What could you smear it on that could possibly improve the p-nutty butter itself? It’s already perfect! ---

Peanut butter muss be removed from ze jar wiss your finger, not a spoon! Vhy have ze metallic taste of a spoon disrupt the peanut-buttery goodness? And as for ze _creamy_ variety? I’ve always found the best way to eat peanut butter from the jar is to not use a spoon or one’s finger. The best way is to scoop it out on one of those king size milk chocolate Hershey’s bars. ---

Definitely chocolate. Chocolate and peanut butter just go together. Though my next favorite is a bananna. Put dab of PB on banana, eat bite, repeat process. Just don’t try to answer the phone at the same time. And don’t skimp and get the cheap PB either. Be real – get the _real_ peanut butter. All natural, no hydrogenated oils, the kind ya gotta stir before using. If it don’t separate when it sits on the shelf, it’s not the real thing. All hail the true _Butter of Peanut-ness_. ---

A carrot. It’s freakin yummy and since carrots are big it’s easy to get peanut butter out of the jar. ---

I like peanut butter with just about any graham-flavored cereal. Golden Grahams and Cinnamon Grahams are the best. But in a pinch, raiding the kids’ graham crackers works. I come from a very long line of peanut butter-eatin’ women. We’ll eat peanut butter with damn near anything. Carrots, pickles, onions (I don’t do the onions, but my mom, aunt, and grandmothers do). My grandmother’s personal favorite–peanut butter and horseradish. I’m not kidding. I have witnessed her preparing and consuming this concoction. On bread. I’m pretty open-minded, and I loved my grandmother dearly (may she rest in peace) but damn…horseradish? There’s some places even I won’t go, and that was one of them. ---

Mmmmmmm…I love peanut butter and bacon sandwiches…actually its only part of the recipe, I haven’t had enough guts to eat the full recipe…peanut butter, bacon, cheddar cheese and raw onions…somehow that seems guaranteed to give you nightmares and indigestion. Keith P.S. My mom swears by peanut butter and pickle sandwiches, a sandwich she picked out of the Kinsey Millhone mysteries by Sue Grafton, I’ve never been desperate enough to try that myself though.
