Really? Peeps? This is what we get this year? Phoning it in, n’est-ce pas?

Not really complaining…oh, what the heck, yes I am. Am I missing something?

I expected tricks, I expected humor, perhaps a little double-entendre. I didn’t expect peeps. Then again, I guess no one ever expects peeps.

Peep, man. ☹

We thought about some sort of colossal joke, like shutting down the internet for the day, or destroying the Idaho potato crop by unleashing wild rutabagas, but this seemed simpeepler. Sometimes, one forgoes size for (dare I say it?) taste.

I had absolutely no clue what “Peeps” are until I Googled them, prompted by this.

So count that as one more little bit of ignorance fought.
