Fun fact, the line “if nature has equipped us with a ding instead of a dong, well, we must just learn to live with it” is quoted in _The Language Construction Kit_ by Mark Rosenfelder as an example of how certain sounds can have certain innate connotations.

The size of the _column_ doesn’t matter. It’s the information it imparts.

I liked the original drawing for that column where the guy’s inflating his penis with a tire pump. It was in the first Cecil Adams book. The guy had a dong as long as his leg or Pinocchio’s nose.
