# Penis vs Vagina sizes in (human) populations

A chinese friend of mine (with an admittedly limited sample size) was saying how she had a more difficult time accomodating her white ex-boyfriend’s penis than her Korean boyfriends. Which got me wondering.
Uncle Cecil did a [column](http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a2_193.html) about penis size. He mentions that blacks and whites have about the same “working” size, but that Japanese condoms are produced in a smaller size than American. **If** that means that there are ethnicity differences in penis sizes, does that mean that there are ethnicity differences in vagina, um, accomodations?
I suppose the only way to measure is the dimensions, but all healthy vaginas can accomodate objects larger than a penis (speculums, babies, etc) so do vaginas start at the same place, or are there differences in expandability?

Can’t believe that nobody has answered this yet despite 84 hits.
I am not entirely sure how one would measure this dimension. I would presume that this is all about the elasticity of the vagina. The modulus of elasticity is a very well defined parameter within physics but I doubt that research has extended to the female vagina. There are definitely a number of factors that affect the question of female accomodation, namely: degree of sexual arousement at the time, frequency of prior penetration, angle/position of entry etc.

This sounds very familar. I suggest doing a search in this forum and in MPSIMS.
I seem to remember data showing difference in vagina size, but it was not immediately accepted because it was taken by a French colonist physican or something. Sorry I can’t be any less vague.
