I scrolled and scrolled and scrolled, and found no cramming-people-in-a-Volkswagen. What I did see made me want to gouge my eyeballs out with a sharp stick. If folks want to entertain themselves by piling inside a Volkswagen, I sure hope they are wearing masks. Because they aren’t practicing social distancing! ~VOW ---

Remember full sized telephone booths? A friend learned that 14 teenagers can cram themselves into one of them. Probably shouldn’t have done that in a free standing telephone booth, they were much more tippy and glass was much more breakable in the early 70’s. ---

Although not a record, it reminds me of the time that I saw four members of the Overbook HS (Philadelphia) basketball team get out of a VW bug. One of them was Wilt Chamberlain. To be honest I don’t know they were all basketball players, but that were all at least 6’6" and Wilt (whom I did recognize) was over 7’. ---

I drove nonstop from Boston to Miami with 3 other guys in a VW bug. That’s gotta count for something.
