As a gay man, I can honestly say that there are just as many gorgeous women on my planet as on any hetero guy’s. I don’t have to twist my brain around to recognize a hot babe. They are everywhere. (Though sometimes I wish they’d get out of the way, if there’s a hot guy behind them.) ---

Straight woman here, and I just have to say I find Ryan gosling repulsive. So there’s that. But women? Oh, Jebus, I love me some beautiful women. One that sticks out was the guy who played David Webster on _Band of Brothers_. I thought he was too good looking for the part. It was played up by the fact that he at one point was in a clean uniform, shaved, and rested while a lot of the actors around him were dirty and worn-looking. ---

He is in once Upon A Time right now. I have seen Band of brothers so often that I am very tuned into what every one of them does. I read Webster’s book. A much different read than BoB. As for the OP I just had this conversation with my girlfriend. It was agreed that Chris Hemsworth is disgustingly handsome. I also can see it in Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer and John Barrowman. I miss it with most guys. For instance I would think John Hamm was decently attractive but not someone to swoon over. ---

I don’t think it takes any “gayness” to recognize that someone like George Clooney or Jon Hamm or Cary Grant are attractive guys. What I find interesting are the WTF types. I never understood what women see in Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp. I mean, separating out the fact that they’re famous, and plenty of women will go gah-gah over anyone famous, but they’ve always seemed to be heart-throbs. I just don’t see what makes them attractive. ---
