What do the Checks next to the user name on the list of dopers mean? ---

The list of names used to be who was on the People Pages, but there was a glitch and many pics were lost. They are in the process of being restored. Secondly, just so you know, the People Pages isn’t run by the Chicago Reader and not really affiliated with the Straight Dope, the message board, or the Chicago Reader at all. It’s a site run independently by fellow posters. ---

Actually I think Shera is refering to a different “people pages”. Doesn’t opal have a page with doper pics? I think that is the one with check marks. I cannot find it right now. ---

Yeah! That’s the one I was talking about. I didn’t know there was more then one. It has pictures and quotes and stuff,and I believe that it is titled \*\* The Teeming Millions Themselves\*\*. ---
