# People That Look Like Their First Names

I think I look like someone with my name would look like. And all three of my boys look _exactly_ like what you’d think someone with their names would look.
Scott- the oldest. Thick, dark hair, glasses, stocky build. Very mature, responsible, stoic, smart, loving, and generous.
Jamie- the middlest. So cute, with huge blue eyes and long, dark lashes, dimples, olive skin. Fun-loving, risk-taking, brings a lot of laughter and light. Just like a Jamie.
Nathan- the baby. Strawberry-blonde, whitewhite skin, freckles and a button nose. Loves school and learning, thinks he’s a miniature Man. So very Nathan.
I wonder, how did I know what they were going to be like when I named them? Or maybe now that I know them I associate their qualities with their names.

Not Blanche! They have gray hair and wear their glasses on a chain, with a sweater-set.
If not Jenny, she’d be a Trina, a Julie, or a Carla.

Trinas are blonde and gangly, with big foreheads, and Carlas are short, old, with curly hair (Cheers influence quite strong).

A lot of people call me Rachel, though, which is weird, because everyone knows that Rachels have long, thick, naturally red hair, and freckles, and they’re big-time Earth Mothers.

You know, I have never ever seen another Angelique (I know they exist and are usually much more ethnic than I); so, I’m going to have to say that I set the standard for what makes an ‘Angelique’.
