Cindy Sheehan spoke at the march on the Pentagon on Saturday, so she certainly hasn’t disappeared. Toned her self-presentation way down, perhaps.
Heh, nobody’s said Hillary Clinton yet? I’m a Democrat and always have been, and I’d sooner vote Republican than vote for her. I can’t stand her in the same way that certain people can’t stand Bush. But then, they mostly hate Bush because he’s a terrible communicator. I hate Hillary because she strikes me as a cold-hearted, two-faced, hypocritical burnt out shell of a woman who’ll be wagging her finger at everyone ad nauseum for four years. At least when I watch Bush I can laugh and/or shake my head in disbelief. When I watch Hillary, I feel like I’ve done something wrong and she’s going to tell me why it was wrong and what my punishment will be. She’s even worse at communicating than Bush is, IMHO, because she is not amicable at all. I’d rather have a president who speaks poorly rather than condescendingly, but what do I know.
I think the effect that Hillary has on the Democratic party makes even Democrats scared, which is why Obama is seeing a growing groundswell of attention. I pray he makes it through the primaries.
