I just don’t get it. Can’t people browse through the list just to see if there’s already an active thread about the same subject? Is it just stupidity? ---

Y’know, I wrote an e-mail to Alphagene last night telling him I was closing down the other threads. In that e-mail, I _thought_ I was joking when I said, “Anyone want to bet on how many more I’ll see before next Friday?” Next thread I see that tries to do this joke **again** does not get closed. It gets deleted. Period.
