That pretty much is what they did. Thomas distributed the appeal. They read it. They unanimously agreed it was BS.
Just because they don’t agree to hear something doesn’t mean they haven’t reviewed or discussed it at all, just they they’ve decided it doesn’t merit a formal hearing.

Very true, but the question was directed to the now departed buttwhat.
(Actually, an increasing number of justices are younger. Roberts is younger than I am and Alito is my age.)

I think they are totally going about this the wrong way. See Obama admits he was born in Hawaii and Hawaii confirms that. But are we really sure Hawaii is a state? I mean let’s look at the facts:
1. It is not connected to the North American continent, i.e. it is exotic;
2. It only has 12 letters in it’s alphabet;
3. They really like Spam
4. They name Hawaii has TWO i’s in a row, what American word does that?
5. Their time zone isn’t very American (Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific ARE the American time zones!)
6. Men wearing skirts and dresses is acceptable.
So in my mind just prove Hawaii isn’t a state and there you have it.

I’ve noticed that a whole lot of professions get younger over time: for example, police officers and teachers all seem to be a lot younger than they were 30 or 40 years ago. I blame the imminent collapse of civilization as we know it, myself.

And, Osama …err..Obama was born _after_ Hawaii became a non-state, ergo, he isn’t the president.

Since Malcolm X was a US citizen, that would mean that Obama was a US citizen from birth even if born in Kenya 😃

Y’know, I dealt fairly well with turning 30, and 40, and when there were no longer any Major League baseball players older than me I sadly but realistically gave up my dream of playing 2nd base for the Orioles, and then I turned 50 and I was fine with that too. But now - now! - the President of the United Fucking States is younger than me.
I give up. It’s crotchety geezer all the way for me from here on.

It’s the talking heads that get me. They’re just fucking kids! Milky faced twenty-somethings — more twenty than something — opining about important things as though they actually have held an important thought in their collective brains. And then they switch to someone like Tom Brokaw, whom they’ve propped up in the chair like Uncle Bernie, and who bloviates endlessly about people from the Stone Age who made this country great. As I said before, this’ll never stop. The nutjobs are ever more creative in their derangement. If it’s not that President Obama was born in Kenya (which, as has been pointed out time and time again, is stupid because even if he were, his mother was an American citizen), it’s that he gave up his American citizenship when his mother married an Indonesian.
