Nobody’s mentioned Bruce Willis? The Return of Bruno, anyone? I’m one of the few who liked Hudson Hawk, though. I’m conflicted. And I know it’s not technically TV, but what’s the verdict on Russell Crowe? I’ve seen brief clips of 30 Odd Foot of Grunts, but I’d like to know more about his incarnation as Rus Le Roc, back in the 80’s. I saw some video of him shaking about on top of a car, bopping and snapping in true 80’s fashion and about died. ---

I can understand someone who dislikes Carol Burnett’s style or thinks her style doesn’t go well with some songs. She’s not my favorite singer; I prefer classical music. But to say she only thinks she can sing or she shouldn’t sing is utterly absurd. I’m also a bit surprised by Patty Duke. I remember her singing “I’m Henery the Eighth, I Am” on an episode of her series. It was amateurish. But I also saw her sing on Jimmy Dean’s show once, and she also did a Russian folk song on Ed Sullivan. She was not a great singer, but those performances were enjoyable and were better than the one on her series. Now take Leonard Nimoy’s singing. Please. ---

Love Hewitt’s not all that bad (not terrific either) but I’ve seen performances by J-Lo that made my hair hurt. Maybe dating a music producer helps (with the mix, that is). Also, Clint Eastwood did a deeply moving (pun intended) reflective love homage in Paint Your Wagon. Glad he can direct. Poor Cybil Shepard, she seems like such a terrific gal (can. not. sing. period.) ---

Has anyone ever heard of Kathy Lee? how about Madonna? i think that on one of kl’s carnival cruise commercials her voice actually cracks. when madonna tries to do a serious song, am i correct in remembering that her voice goes thru about 100 filters a la patrick swayze and don johnson? ---
