you mean sane standard market economics. Their economic policies are not right wing except to the communists. They are largely of the center market left variety.

Here are a few “doing good” examples from Indonesia. Can you lay out how they are evil? Can you figure out ulterior motives that funders might have?

- A social marketing campaign to minimize open defecation.

- A series of training modules to teach best practices for transparent procurement procedures.

- A conditional grant program that encourages local governments to work more closely with their utility companies, so that physical infrastructure is better maintained and more household connections are built in low-income urban neighborhoods.

- Output-based aid that rewards road agencies that develop medium-term economic frameworks so that they look past short-term budget horizons and spend more money on maintenance, rather than waiting until roads totally fall apart, a much more expensive proposition.

- A hygiene module developed for local schools, to teach kids the importance of washing hands, boiling drinking water, etc.
