She explained that he was going through a stressful period and thought that might be a factor. But **Perciful** ’s moronic insensitivity doesn’t seem to have any basis other than her own random delusions. And worse than that, she has no hesitation about saying such hurtful things! **Perciful** is worse than useless and just flat-out disgusting. ---

The comments about Thai people are clearly xenophobic and silly and tendentious. The stuff about guys that aren’t putting out is not a big deal, and she was raising some plausible, legitimate questions. If a guy isn’t doing his girlfriend anymore, it very often IS because he’s getting it somewhere else, or because he’s not really into women. That’s not the case 100% of the time, of course, but both scenarios happen with enough frequency that it isn’t ridiculous to consider them. ---

Well I don’t know why you had to bring me into this- in the quoted thread I was only trying to point out that she\* is\* old, and back in her day, that was the general thought process. Some folks get trapped back in time, back when they were relevant, and they don’t grow and change like others do. I didn’t have anything to do with her Thai thread remarks- that’s clearly off the deep end, right there. ---

While I agree that it’s a legitimate concern, I think there’s better ways to bring up the possibility that giving two pretty extreme anecdotes and making no mention of any possible signs. When it’s patently clear that the OP is under stress (SO possibly losing his job, lump in her breast, lack of initimacy in the relationship), I think it could have been done more tactfully. I think it was apparent that the OP was already aware of that possibility and was giving some of the context of the situation so people could say “sure, stress sounds reasonable” or “no, sounds fishy to me”, and not “he might be gay or a pedophile”. And, again, while it may be a legitimate concern, given the level of stress, I don’t think it’s unreasonable that stress is the problem. But moreover, I don’t think that post alone is enough reason for **Green Bean** here to have pitted **Perciful** , but the fact that she later came in and basically asserted that he was definitely cheating with that last comment. So, quite honestly, it seems a little misandristic to me. ---

I’m not sure it’s misandristic, but she does seem to extropolate a lot from personal, anecdotal experience, and it sounds like she’s had some bad luck with men. ---

She isn’t that old. I just looked at some of her old posts and she mentions growing up in the 60s and 70s. That would put her somewhere in her early to mid 50s at the oldest. I would describe myself as growing up in the 60s and 70s, and I’m not quite 50 yet. ---
