I don’t know how old she is, but she describes herself as being older, plus her posts do give off a vibe of ‘old lady’. I’d say she’s at least 60. And in need of sensitivity training, but not a troll. ---

I explicitly said that cheating/other oreintation were the _only_ reasons for lack of sex, only that they are frequent enough reasons to at least consider them. ---

**Perciful** , you are obviously unaware that people outside of your culture read the Dope and hell, even understand it. As far as I am aware, my wife has never “sent all her money back home to her family”. It may surprise you to know that we get the Discovery Chanel over here. If you go by the various ways that they show how wives and husband kill each other off for the insurance money in the States you will know that Thailand doesn’t have the monopoly on that. **She won’t marry beneath her**. Well, I am what you would call a high school graduate, I have worked from the age of 16 and have never officially advanced my education beyond high school. My wife comes from a successful family, she graduated from University and throughout the years has continued to study. I am not a doctor and I am not yet independently wealthy, so she certainly did not get involved with me for my wealth or my social status. I really don’t know what to say to you **Perciful**. What you wrote above was really insulting to my wife. A women who is honest, hardworking and who conducts herself with integrity. I came to the Pit wanting to cuss you out and really give you a piece of my mind, but that really isn’t in my nature. If you are ever in my part of the world, look me up, we can discuss this further in a civilized manner over a nice cup of tea. ---

One can find all kinds of people everywhere, and all generalizations are wrong. Yet Thais, by and large, are noted for sincerity and generosity. After the 2004 Tsunami, there were many heart-warming stories of vacationing European tourists put back on their feet by Thai strangers. I’ve spent enough time in Thailand to see and hear some interesting stories involving greed and crime here. But in several cases the fraudster was a Westerner, not a Thai ! ---
