# Peregrine cam

It’s a peregrine nest, seeming to consist of amorphous lint from our basement dryer. I happened to watch for ~15 minutes when along came the mother bird with food (a rat?).
A chick pops up from the mass. Then two, three and finally four. Yes four baby peregrines. It’s really neat.

Very interesting.
I was horrified when I first clicked on the link, thinking that the birds must have been born with no bones since they looked so flat.
Then one of them stood up, and the horror abated a little.

What a cool link! I got to see one of the chicks pop it’s head up out of the “amorphous lint” (excellent description, **E = mc[SUP]2[/SUP]**). No mom, though. Maybe later.
