**Valteron** , it doesn’t have to continue to be like this. If you can’t pull yourself together, ask for help. There’s no disgrace in asking. Try to get some nourishing food, plenty of sleep, fresh air, some exercise, and a shower. Clear your head as best you can. Talk it out if you need to. I used to stick my head in a basin of ice water to try to calm down. Got the idea from watching Paul Newman movies. Whatever works for you… ---

And here’s my beef with this approach. In this life I’ve seen very sensible and honorable atheists. And I’ve seen the opposite in atheists. Those who turn their lack of religion into a new dogma and ram it in people’s faces. And if chafes. And it only hurts the cause of atheism as it perpetuates the myth of immoral and angry atheists trying to “oppress” the theists. I’m an atheist. So long as what you believe doesn’t force me to do anything different than I care to… I don’t care what you believe in. I think most Americans are this way. We just have a few outliers and they _tend_ to be what people look at. Because they are the vocal ones. I weary of the drama. ---
