Has anyone else noticed a recent Arch-Dipshit Migration onto the boards? Normally, SBMB accumulates a number of idiots every week, but only one or two real mouthbreathing no-sharp-objects-in-this-ward lunatics. But in December, it was as if the ratio was reversed: there were only a few run of the mill idiots and a whole tribe of utter nutballs. Does this happen every year around this time? (I’ve noticed friend **Brutus** and others chalk it up to school vacation.) Is it coincidence? Or am I imagining the whole phenomenon? ---

I just kinda figured the Dipshit Migration had to do with the fact that so many people who otherwise have productive things to do… suddenly have free time in December. And give the guy a break. Hell, I find a blast of general idiocy refreshing from time to time. It gets a bit hermetic in here, what with all the intelligence drifting around. Sometimes I need a little of what Question’s selling, just to remind me of who and what is allowed to run loose out there… ---

You are not imagining. I noticed it too. Strange, but I think it has to do with the beginning of winter, lack of school, and boredome. Toss in some immaturity, and a little free time and you get what happens here a couple of times a year. The summer`s not so bad, there`s more to do than sit at the computer. Then when these kids get out of school they have to get real jobs flipping burgers and such which leaves no time to surf. ---
