I’m not a guy but I can see where he could be confused. Your mouth still works, your hands still work. Even your other fun-time parts work, they’re just a little messy. If he asks he’s either going to get a blowjob, a handjob, or told to shut up. If he doesn’t ask, he gets nothing. I don’t see why he shouldn’t ask! ---

Some guys are cool with period sex, even if you’re not. Especially if it’s a light-flow day. Just put down a towel or hop in the shower. No big deal, to some. ---

I mean, if I was dating a girl, and a week or so after meeting / starting to date, she tells me that she is having a heavy flow day? That just seems like personal information divulged too soon. I’d imagine that maybe after a month or so, a woman might approach the topic of when that time of the month was approaching. So, it’s not like he would have much precedent by which to mark certain days as “off-limits” in his yearly planner. Also, I know a lot of women who are affected by their periods in different ways. From what they tell me, some don’t experience much (if any) discomfort, outside of having to be very aware of maintenance to avoid leaks / stains. Maybe your boyfriend didn’t think that you’d be as uncomfortable as you were. ---

I feel like you’re projecting your hate of menstruation on your man. He didn’t do anything wrong by asking in his own way if you wanted some. Some women feel better if they have sex on their period. Chances are it just slipped his mind. Give him a break though, it’s not like he could ever experience periods himself so he won’t ever know what it’s like to have your body constantly reminding you that it’s happening. Periods are awful, sure, but don’t take it out on him. It’s not his fault. What I do want to roll my eyes at is people who imply a blow job would be appropriate. Sure, if the lady offers to give. But expecting a lady to give up any pleasure herself for a week and just do stuff for him is too one-sided. He’s got hands. He can go use them if he can’t wait. ---

I once made a post here expressing my interest in oral period sex, and how I’ve never been with a woman cool with it. All the female posters on the board then expressed their disgust with the idea. I think women are more negative on periods than men lol.
