Well, he does still have three reasons. First, he paid good money for those glasses and intends to get as much use out of them as possible. Second, he might still get occasional chances to be on TV, and the glasses look better for that. Third, . . . oops . . . .

To be fair, Romney only wanted votes from the top 47%. The bottom 47% are all just unAmerican teat-sucklers anyway.

Possibly this is the really pertinent part of the statement. After the gaffes of 2012, maybe the glasses were supposed to be a disguise, so the Republican geniuses would think he was someone brand new. His mistake was not getting the kind with a nose and mustache attached.
