# Perseid sents to pay off Aug. 12 - 13

I’m no astronomer, not even a bad one, but that doesn’t keep one from enjoying streaky bits across the night sky. Got lawnchair?

Got Cot? (less neck strain when lying down IMO) I might be willing to go out and look. I have one of the Off Clip on Fans with mosquito repellent. Tough to enjoy the meteors when mosquitoes are buzzing around your ears and biting the exposed parts. I usually prefer the Leonids in November.

Its pouring here right now. Last time we tried, my son laid down and a few cars stopped and asked if he was okay. I said, “Meteor showers!”

TonightCloudy periods with 30 percent chance of showers early this evening. Clearing later this evening. Low 13 except 9 in low lying inland areas.
