Beautiful…is anybody else looking at the magical shooting stars?

Monday night had less activity, spaced out over a longer time period. Still, if it remains clear I’ll be back again after midnight tonight.

Saw some the night before last. They got much better later in the night.

**Finagle** , don’t you get smart 😉

**Robot Arm** , did you ever make it over to my neck of the woods?

No, I decided to try Plum Island, it’s on the coast just a bit south of New Hampshire. Listening to the waves while lying on the sand was kinda nice, but there was still a little bit of light pollution. One couple brought their dog, and there’s something slightly eerie about hearing a collar clanking when you can’t see it, and getting closer. As it turned out, he started sniffing around me and then took off like a shot when I sat up.

Oh, and there were some meteors.

Now that I know about the site in Amherst, I may head there next time there’s something worth seeing. And you, **NightRabbit** , good time at the lake house?

I watched for a while in Dublin last night - there were a few spectacular ones and a lot of feint very high ones that could have been due to me blinking, but it’s always exciting to see a meteor.
