My sister has her nickname, Lynxx, on Nevada plates. In my home state of RI, it’s a big deal to have a low number… there are about 20 different types of plates, each with just the number 1 on them. ---

WA state is great – vanity plates cost $25 one time. So we have a pair: BIG DOG and EEQMC2 on the sports car So I’m driving to work in Chicago one day and I see: **ESADMF** I spent about five more minutes figuring out that it was. . . **eat shit and die – you know the rest** Many creative ways to get by the state department of licensing. ---

I saw this one a couple of weeks ago on route 128 around Boston (On a N. Carolina plate): **31415926** I didn’t even now you coul get that characters on a plate. I’ll bet he’d (or she’d) have loved a decimal point. ---

Can’t say as I’ve seen anything reportworthy recently, but I did want to share my six-year plan for vanity plates: ANDNOW FORSOM ETHING COMPLE TELYDI FFRENT Of course, if I declared a plate stolen six years in the running it might raise a couple of eyebrows, but it would look killer on a garage wall. ---
