> Left-wing presidential contender Pedro Castillo keeps slim lead over Keiko Fujimori, but official result not yet released.

The elite are scared, worrying that Castillo will use Venezuela as a template. From what I’ve read and heard though fully nationalizing the major industries is an unlikely path but much higher taxes on those industries to fund education and healthcare is. It seems though that few really know what Castillo will do as he’s less an ideologue than a populist.

Anyone with more insight to offer?
