**everton** … That story rocks! That is so cool! I didn’t know lobsters could live as long as 60 years. And I’m glad that they’re going to let him go home instaed of into the stewpot. Excellent. He is really cute, but if I were going to keep him as a pet, I might see if we could do something about all of those crusty ole barnacles all over his exoskeleton. Although it does give Barney a sort of nautical, devil-may-care sort of look, doesn’t it? Ah, but it’s good that he can go home. I bet his wife and kids and grandkids had given up on him. Wow, what if he shows up right in the middle of his own funeral? That’ll surely cause a crustacean sensation! ---

My Bro-in-law is an aquarium enthusiast (there’s a word for that, but I can’t think of it right now…) He lives in Maine with my sis, and a gaggle of kids… Last time I was there, he had a tank with a lobster in it… they had had the lobster for a while, but I don’t know how long… So it is possible, but I don’t know for how long… FTR the lobster my bro-in-law had was pretty small. Maybe 7 or 8 inches long… ---
