Y’all have cute cats and all, but they’re simply no match for mine. I give you… [Ariel the Wondercat](http://www.flickr.com/photos/polkaroo/2806390389/), regal empress of the orange chair, bane of the centipede and catcher of centipedes. and… [Morgan the Wise](http://www.flickr.com/photos/polkaroo/2806390777/in/set-72157605667074395/), benevolent observer of outside goings-on, champion lap-sitter and licker of plastic bags. ---

[Meet Buttercup](http://www.flickr.com/photos/hodge/sets/72157603865289046/) Technically my brother and his wife’s dog, but I’ve somehow become a frequent dog sitter. Not that I mind, she’s adorable although hyperactive and exhausting. ---

This is [Oliver](http://i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq111/lesschatmorehat/ollie2.jpg), who is orange and sleepy and bitey and wurzums. This is [Joey](http://i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq111/lesschatmorehat/DSC00003.jpg), who has racked up $2800 in vet bills in the last 36 hours and he is still in the hospital. He is adorable and sleeps curled up in the crook of my arm at night and he is worth every penny, but man has this been a stressful couple of days. ---
