That rat is obviously not stainless steel. He’s too floofy and adorable. ---

He’s named after Harry Potter because he has a marking on his forehead that looks vaguely like a lightning bolt. You can’t see it in that photo though. ---

Clipped ear! Rescue thought feral who turned out not to be? (I at first thought I’d found a grey ear in the upper left of the photo, but I think that one’s a pillow.) ---

> [@thorny\_locust](#): > > Rescue thought feral who turned out not to be? Roomate and think he was feral for 15, 20 minutes tops based on his hunting skills. He does have trust issues with new people, but if you get invited to dinner, then wake up without your balls, and part of your ear torn off, you’d have issues, too. ---

Spoiler: I had to sneeze. About a quarter-second after I snapped that 2nd shot, Monkey’s world (and my inner thigh) discovered new worlds. And did he get his crunchy treat? — Before I looked at the others, I looked at that first picture and thought, There’s a cat who thinks their human is about to move, and objects to that. ---

> [@purplehorseshoe](#): > > Well, he can “pumpkin spice” as needed, when he wants to be cute: Cute Monkey.
