So…after 2 weeks of this, I’ve given up and bought a riser for the monitor so I can see the bottom of the screen past him. Hopefully I’ll have time to set it up this weekend. George is 8 pounds and will be 5 months old in a week. He’s big enough to jump on the counters and drag towels around. VBC told him wait until the people weren’t looking before dragging towels, but she forgot to tell him about the counters. Spraying a water loving cat with water doesn’t seem to be an effective deterrent. So I soaked bath towels and laid them all over the counters, sopping wet. I’d come in in the morning and she’d be sitting on them.
