This is Bob with my uncle’s dog Murray. Murray is a big baby. He’s afraid of Bob, but Bob has been gentle with him (after an initial semi-bruhaha). He’ll sidle up to Murray nice and slow and sniff his face and Murray will shy away. A little while ago, Murray was napping in front of the front door (a couple steps down from the kitchen) and Bob just laid down at the top of the stairs and hung out at a distance. This picture was right after Murray sprinted past Bob to get into the bedroom and Bob, without my telling him to, presented his ass to him and laid down. It might take a few more days to get Murray with the program. This is a late reply, as I just found this thread. But I want to say that Max is almost a twin to my dog Mauser. The only difference seems to be that Mauser is just a bit darker than Max. That face is a twin though. ---

Well, the vet calls him a dachshund, and the same vet called my first dog “mostly dachshund” I didn’t get him until he was five, so I have no provenance for his ancestry. ---

He still does the sideways fluffy cat thing and his tail fluffs bigger than his body! I got to meet a mountain dog in person last week. I’m not sure what you’re asking, but the Embark website is [embarkvet.com](http://embarkvet.com) We just got the Breed Ancestry test. They have others, but they’re more for breeders. Good luck! ---
