Maybe at some point in his previous life he wore sweaters, and got used to them. Or maybe his coat’s in such poor shape that it isn’t keeping him warm, and the sweater just feels good. Or maybe he’s just so glad to have a _home_ again\* that he’s not going to make a fuss about sweaters. Especially since his energy level’s almost certainly still low; and by the time it gets back to normal, he will be used to the sweater. \*(He clearly had a home before, at some point in his life; both because he’s friendly to humans, and because he’s obviously used to being indoors.) ---

So glad to see the rescue and know he’s feeling comfortable there. Thanks for letting us know. So good to have good news! ---

I’m so happy to see him comfortable. Thank you for the picture. ---

What a great outcome, thank you for sharing. He does look comfy in his sweater, but I do wonder its because his new slaves are feeding him into a coma four times a day cause that’s what I do it. ---

[![Imgur](https://i.imgur.com/7xJJs4n.jpeg "imgur.com") ](https://imgur.com/7xJJs4n) Da boys. Such sweet, sweet pit mixes. Cole (guess which one) is young, and a goof and a brat. Lucas is 3 years older and a … sensitive soul. Or spooky, depending. And sweet as all get out (both of them, really). ---

It’s been perfect weather for sitting on the dock, feeding the fish & ducks, and having some cocktails while we watch the sun go down. When I say “Let’s go to the dock” the dogs go nuts. [![](https://i.imgur.com/kKOsI4m.jpg) ](https://i.imgur.com/kKOsI4m.jpg) ---

He did in fact come to us as “Coal” but that felt a bit twee. He is 100% black furred (and has never seen snow–he’s in for a shock). ---

I always knew she wanted a kitten. GG was 12 weeks old when he arrived and there are no earlier pics of them sleeping together because she was still bigger than him back then. (He’s almost three, she’s almost 13.) ---

Looks can be deceiving! The funny thing is I look at that pic and wonder if anyone can see how much bigger he is because I really can’t. VeryBadCat is the one who is in charge, so of course I see her as the bigger one. ---

Isn’t that a strange thing? Trust me; compared to VBC, he’s a Hulk! ETA: It’s the same phenomenon as between my first mini-dachshund, all 11 pounds of him. He ruled the other dogs, a 45 pound Border collie and a 140 pound German shepherd. He was a benevolent dictator, though. He hardly knew what to do with all that power, so he contented himself with occasionally standing on the patio at a safe distance and barking at them. Was hilarious. 🙂 ---

Our little old crabby cat had Gormless George so bamboozled that if GG accidently fell over the baby gate keeping them apart, GG would panic and forget how to cat. Size doesn’t always indicate who the Large and In Charge one is! ---

So true. I’ll have to dig around and see if I can find an old pic of the little dewd and his big German shepherd buddy. It’s cute as hell. ---
