I was directed to your vegan website in [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?postid=576840#post576840) (The ‘vanilla gets healthy’ thread, in case I didn’t make the link work) and after this meat-eater drooled over the yummy recipes, I took some time to read your letters.

So often I hear people griping about the things that make them angry, like animal cruelty, but they never do anything about it. Never protest, never do the research, never try to make a difference.

Your cause isn’t mine…I love a good steak and I own a leather coat. All the same, I am _really_ impressed with the effort you’ve put forth in making your voice heard and trying to change things.

Kudos to you, lady.

Jeez, things go fast around here lately.

Bumping so she actually has an opportunity to see this.

Wow, thank you so much for your kind words. I’d say more, but right now I’m “speechless” by the praise. \<blush\> :o Might as well take this opportunity for a little shameless self-promotion. You, too, can [visit my website.](http://www.geocities.com/la_peta/)

Thanks Chris!
