There’s a… kind of similar thing in Romanian. I’ll try to give an approximate translation: One sunny morning, Cancer Case crossed the river. Soon afterwards, Tumor crossed the river too. How many of them crossed the river? Most people will answer two, but the “real” answer is three because Tumor should be interpreted as “two more”.
There is a more similar one, where the protagonists are two fellows named If and Maybe, who really went out in a boat the result being a really confusing hypothetical situation, but I find it too hard to translate.
