It’s the middle of the night here in Kabul and I can’t sleep, so I did what anyone would do, I created a petition on the White House’s website to request that the president not wear a White Sox hat whilst engaged in the act of throwing out the first pitch at Washington Nationals games. That’s what they’ve done. For those of you who don’t follow DC baseball, the President previously wore a White Sox cap while throwing out a first pitch at a Nats game. NPR had an interview a few weeks ago with a journalist that trailed the Prez for a couple weeks. He said when he first met Obama, Obama showed him an email he’d received from a woman whose daughter went to the same school as Sasha and Malia. The woman was apparently livid that while Obama was donating some time to coaching some of the schools basketball teams, he was only coaching the basketball teams of his daughters, and not all the basketball teams from the school. Let the poor guy wear what he wants. ---

Have a heart, man. The White Sox need any celebrity help that they can get. They have to share town with the Cubs, the darling of every broken down actor, washed-up comedian, and two-bit camera whore who wants to pass himself or herself off as a “celebrity Cubs fan”. (I’m looking at you, Dabney Coleman and Geraldo Rivera.) Give us a break. ---

I think he’s playing on the fact that Obama, some time ago, referred to it as “Kaminsky Park” instead of “Comiskey Park.” However, to be fair, “Kaminsky Park” is not an uncommon malapropism, at least not in my Polish South Side neighborhood. When I saw the title of the thread, I wondered if the OP had a plan to deliver a petition to the White House by writing it on a baseball and throwing it through the window.
