In [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=318572&page=5) thread, I mentioned that I have a leash for my rats, and **Anaamika** asked if I had a picture. My pet is a Rat Terrier :eek: But heā€™s not really great on a leash, he figured out how to slip his collar, so he gets a harness now. Sorry, no pics. And itā€™s a shame, he is the absolute picture of the breed standard. Thatā€™s 'cause heā€™s a Duke! ---

I also like degus. One of my friends has a degu named Jasmine, and sheā€™s really fat and cute (Jasmine, not my friend. :D). I definitely recommend rats as pets. My girls are some of the best pets Iā€™ve ever had, and Iā€™ve had a lot of different pets. ---

Rabbits are always cute. Thatā€™s so they can get away with chewing on the baseboards and trying to get me in trouble with the landlord. But who could be mad at [these](http://www.unc.edu/~melaniem/pics/bunsintub.gif) adorable (but wascally) wabbits? I used to take Billie for walks in the park on a leash, but I donā€™t have any pictures. It wasnā€™t really a walk, more like meandering around, stopping to munch on dried leaves.
