I thought I was the only one who ended up with more PEZ on the floor than in the dispenser. I was not an inept child, but the stack of candy certainly got the best of me all too often. It was like a two person operation: one to hold open the dispenser and one to wrestle with the candy. I usually ended up putting them in the dispenser one at a time. I always hated when I got stale PEZ. Ugh. ---

My brother eats the pez, I collect it, My mom thinks they’re cute. I bought Valentine’s dipseners this year. She filled one up and before she was half way done filling the second, my brother had eaten the entire first one. He’ll sneak into my room while I’m not around and steal pez. I leave it out now, so he doesn’t ruffel through my stuff. He’s a 24 year-old tough guy so it entertains me. I once bet my boyfriend I could make my brother beg, and knowing the kind of he was he took it. I dangled a grape pez over his head and… he begged. Strange, huh? If you dangled a dispenser I don’t have over my head, I’d beg too. Wonko saw that several times the other day. There is a pez Christmas ornament! ---

I paid $6 for mine. But, you know, you only get 5 dispensers that are unique. I pay $1 at a time, cause I’m finding ones I don’t already have. I’d pay more, but don’t tell Pez USA that. I wouldn’t have a while ago, but it’s like drugs in some respects. It doesn’t cost you much at first, then you need more and more exotic ones. Foreign characters and flavors that haven’t been sold in America for 20 years because snotty Americans thought the tasted like cough syrup. (I love the taste of cough syrup)Soon you have empty wrappers all over your bedroom floor and when you look for new ones, you find that there isn’t anything that can satisfy you. For weeks, you search and finally find something new, and take a hit. You’re thrilled for 5 minutes. And the search begins again… Um… I’m okay. Really. ---

I’m not a devotee, although I do number my ninja turtle dispenser among my most cherished possessions. ---

Ninja turtles are especially bad because there are 4. each with two faces and each those with 7 different colors stems. Something lke 56 total. ---

I love Pez!! I started buying new Pez dispensers one by one over the years, and must have approx. 100 of them. My personal fav is this big bear head one. I also have a Pez dispenser styled flashlight and a Pez dispenser styled bubble blower. ---

One of my favorite things about my 20 year old son is that he collects PEZ dispensers. (And Buzz Lightyear.) He is way too cool to be intimidated by people who think otherwise. ---
