# Phantom of the Opera Question

This is a link to the Entr’acte of _Phantom of the Opera_.

If I’m not mistaken, it’s composed of bits and pieces of other songs, but one of them I can’t identify, and I’ve been searching for an hour, and it’s driving me nuts.

It starts at about 1:36 and lasts until about 2:23.

If anyone can tell me which song this is, I would be very grateful.

The question I’ve always had about POtO. is …

How the hell did he get that bloody great Organ(no pun intended) down into the Paris sewers through those small sewer accesses?

Well, the phantom didn’t live in the sewer- he lived in the sub-basement of the opera house. In the book, he was the contractor who built the basement over ancient torture chambers. As builder, he fashioned all the secret doorways and such. I guess he could have built the room around the organ.
