Pharmaceutical companies are holding back cures

Wait until you see the size of the life insurance policy she’s carrying on you…

I did a little digging and it seems that Big Pharma is the silent partner behind Big Alt. Consider Nature Made, which offers a full line of products that are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. They are owned by Phamavite, which is owned by Otsuka Pharmaceutical, which makes mostly nutricianals, but also a few legitimate pharmaceutical drugs.

Of course they channel their good stuff to their Real Cures division, which is controlled by the Illuminati, just like the rest of Big Alt. Cite: Jackmannii’s post.

To be fair Nature’s Way is owned by Schwabe GmbH & Co KG, which appears to take quackary to a higher level.

And the Illuminati own all the Big OilTM and [del]Big Arms[/del] (That sounds funny, not scary) Evil ArmsTM companies too! It’s all right there!

I have a bad track record for whooshes in this thread, so I’m not sure if this is one. At the risk of that, I don’t think that a single neutraceutical company that happens to have a single real drug on the market is enough to substantiate the claim that “Big Pharma is the silent partner behind Big Alt.”

Well I figured that if Nature’s Made, Centrum, and One a Day are all controlled by Big Pharm (though calling the parent of Nature’s Way a member of Big Pharm is a stretch) then we’ve successfully turned the conspiracy theory on its head. Always a fun activity. More good news: Merck is in the vitamin business as well: brands include Bion, Cebion, Sangobion, femibion, and GigaDrillMechaBion. Ok, maybe not the last one.

But then there’s the awkward existence of Nature’s Way, which is quackery all the way down.
Also, Otsuka owns more than Abilify: they also have bought Astex and are working on cancer drugs.

And Big Peace. It’s best to diversify you know.
