Why is it always Xtians who think they’re so special that they get to have a job that requires doing something that they don’t want to do, that they knew going in was required by the job, and yet they want to not do their job and not get fired. When you call it ‘conscience’ you’re just making excuses for self-righteous asses who should be fired for not going the job. And strangely enough, they only deny meds to those people-----like women seeking any form of birth control-----who the right has an obsession with denying abortions and birth control and self determination to. Just a coincidence, I’m sure.
This is a con job. If you know the job is going to require you to do something you don’t want to do, don’t pick that job. It’s monumentally stupid and self-indulgent to expect to get paid to discriminate against women and get a salary for it.
And let’s face it, it’s Xtians who are pushing this kind of crap. It amounts to whining that they’re being discriminated against because they can’t discriminate against someone else.
I thought the example we were all working with in these pharmacist conscience cases was the pharmacist who owned their own pharmacy who refused to stock or dispense the drug. I have not heard anyone defend a pharmacist’s right to refuse to dispense drugs and not get fired for it.
Yeah, what if he’s the only pharmacist in town? Then he shouldn’t be a pharmacist and let somebody else take over the business who will. Or he should do his job. Don’t take the job if you won’t do the job. The huge glaring elephant is that these guys—and at least two idiot women that I know of----only want to deny women certain medication.
If he’s the owner, he should be required to put a huge sign in the window that says what he won’t sell. His biases will become pretty clear, and I’m pretty white guys won’t be on the denied list.

Short answer? None of your fucking business. You are free, however, to not have whatever kind of abortion it is that you don’t want to have. What part of ‘my body, not your body’ is so hard to get? It’s funny how anti-choicers are so very eager to give a two-inch salamander human rights while denying as many of them as they can to the woman who actually exists, votes, lives, supports herself, and is a full human being. Let’s ignore her entirely, shall we? Isn’t that the point? You obsess over this fetus like it’s not inside a real live person, and it allows you to make women disappear-----along with their rights.
