Meros’ date will not be in attendance. My secretary decided to wait a little longer before trying to set me up with anyone and personally, I am not one to go a-courting so soon after a break-up. Maybe I’ll drag someone along anyway but it will likely be just be. Of course, this makes me free to manhandle **moi** with the rest of you 😃 ---

Tonight was not a miniDope for the timid, that’s for sure. **TP** busted out the inhaler, and **Meros** spit up a mouthful of grog…and that was all in the first hour or so. Highlights of the evening include **DocCathode** bemoaning the waitress’ anti-Semitism and **Meros** buying same waitress a drink, only to later mention wanting some of her action…while she stood right. behind. him. :o There was nothing in the way of manhandling or lapsitting 'cos we’re all talk. And, hot damn, did we talk! We’re going to have to find a spot to hold the miniDope after party rather than crowding the sidewalks and streets of Philly for an extra half hour. The ride home was made extra colorful by the Satan puppet **tdc** bagged, courtesy of **DocCathode**. Satan sang along to “I Wanna Rock All Night and Party Every Day” and laughed maniacally as we drove past some of his finer interventions (SUVs, Exxon, McDonalds). My ribs hurt, I was laughing so hard. Time for this little moi to be off to bed. See y’all again in two; **TP** you’ll be missed! ---

**moi** , you only forgot a few things. First, me being “crowned” for the evening. I really should have said it was my birthday when the waitress asked. It would have gotten us some free dessert! 🙂 And who can forget the nasty things that toys do? I know **Meros** plans on uploading those pictures somewhere later. (He and **Verrain** were up until 2am here watching a Robin Williams DVD and he didn’t end up heading for home until around 9:30 this morning.) While most of the rest of us were standing by the parking garage, we got some very strange looks from a couple of older ladies due to our… interesting conversation. All in all, it was a night that shouldn’t have been missed! I’ll miss you guys in two weeks, but I’ll be back and better than ever in four! ---

I think I look more fish-like than being royal, but that’s just me. Y’all better have a drink for me next Friday. It’ll be weird _not_ being with y’all then. Oh, and to throw out for the following Doper Gathering (since I won’t be there to throw this out next Friday), who would be up for Dim Sum on June 7th? Sometime in the afternoon, I’m thinking. Talk about it amongst yourselves next week and let me know. ---

Last weekend the bf and I tried out a Jamaican restaurant in Mt. Airy (a few blocks from the Allen’s Lane station on the R8 Chestnut Hill West). A bit pricey (we had appetizers, etc., and it was around $50 for the two of us), but pretty darn good. ---

Might I humbly suggest O’Doyle’s on roughly 30th & Market (on the corner across from 30th St. Station and the post office South side) which seems to be a reasonably priced Beef & Ale place. Also my co-worker suggest a place called the Black Sheep (oddly appropriate for us) on 17th between Loocust and Spruce which comes highly recommended and serves irish Pub fare a la Fado. An a last one (my co-worker is a bit of a gourmand) South Side of Chestnut near 2nd St. A Belgian place of which the name escapes him…if his brain comes back I’ll post with the name. ---
