With much regret, I must announce that I will not join you this Friday. God, in His infinite wisdom, has chosen rain to fall upon my business plan, such that I have repaired to the woods in search of solace. Once the mushrooms between my toes have been harvested, I’ll attend the next fest. Hopefully, between now and then, my lawn will be less than 18" tall. ---

One of my lifelong problems has been the tendency to sleep days and be awake at night. Recently, this has recurred. I slept past the usual 3pm(no alarm needed. Apparently my inner demons greatly enjoy the kidsWB weekday afternoon lineup) by 2 hours. In order to be on time, I should have been leaving at 5. Plus, I was still sleepy. ``` It seems that for once, just going back to sleep worked to my advantage. ``` ---
