Aaah but GMRyujin… I do know the joy of kitty climbing bare leg in the morning after a shower. It is really cute when they scale your jeans and climb you but when you aren’t wearing any jeans… ouch!

See, if she had a playmate, they would be busy trying to remove each other’s ears instead of climbing the walls. Our two adult cats interact a lot. They groom each other, sunbathe in the front window together, and pounce on each other. There’s nothing funnier than watching them peek at each other from behind a strategic wall or door, waiting for JUST the right moment to POUNCE! Before we got our Siamese girl, the tabby boy would hide behind a doorway and try to bodyslam my daughter. He wouldn’t use his claws, he just wanted to play. I thought this was hilarious. My daughter was not nearly so amused. Now that he has a feline playmate, though, the two cats will wrestle with each other, and snuggle up to the humans to be petted.
And yes, you said CUN’IN. AND you called yourself Daddy. Face it, you’re smitten. I can’t blame you, though, I’m a sucker for cats myself, especially Siamese. Right now, I have the most incredible urge to adopt another Siamese kitten, and it’s all YOUR fault.
I’m actually gald you posted that lynn. I’m beginning to think that maybe the addition of another kitty would help keep them out of our room at night. So far **Minmei has not been able to reach the trelace from climbing the wall. But once agility set’s in I bet she’ll be able to. I have to do some soul searching right now, because if I suggest to Mrs.Phlosr we get another kitty, it will only affirm her notion that she won and I gave in to the primal kitty urge. She already kids me when my in-laws are around…“Yep, he racked the second Minmei came home!! I’m good”

All this kitty talk makes me want one.
I sooooooooooo want a cat, and this thread has made me even more insistent. My family’s still debating whether to get one cat or two - but we’re getting a cat.
Cats are so unbelievably adorable! They rule my world.

Everyone should have a kitty. But don’t forget to check out the local animal shelter. It is such a shame that there are unwanted kitties in the world - if you go, you will want to adopt them all guarenteed!
We have 4 kitties… 3 are shelter kitties. My dog is a shelter doggie. Our hamsters have all been shelter hamsters.
Cats really need company. I wouldn’t have only one. Good luck with finding a way to convince Mrs. Philosopher that another kitty is for Minmei’s mental health (and yours) and not because you are whipped
Oh and I love the name minmei and hubby got a kick out of it too! (Being the Robotech fan that he is)
