I saw [Phoebe Cates](http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Theater/4692/) in a store on Madison Avenue tonight. A few thoughts: #1: There’s a reason some people are movie stars and other people ain’t – holy shit, she’s hot. #2: I probably creeped her out by constantly staring in her direction. See #1, above. #3: Cool, I creeped out Phoebe Cates! This was an unusually productive day. #4: Not two minutes after leaving the aforementioned store, I walked past [that lady who played the grandmother on “Suddenly Susan”](http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/PersonDetail/personid-3934). Let’s hear it for New York. ---
